I have successfully connected the soundbar to my 65" Samsung TV with HDMI.
I think that with the standardised HDMI interface there should be no problems. My installation worked right away.

Yes, as long as the other devices are also equipped with Bluetooth. It works perfectly with my Samsung HW-MS 650 Soundbar. Answers without guarantee. Otherwise, you can find out for yourself at Galaxus.

The soundbar is switched on and off by the remote control, I can't say anything about the timer.

The thing has its own remote control and does not switch on automatically. I have linked it to my Logitech Harmony and it works great.
Depends on the connections of the subwoofer (do you need ARC or BT). Samsung SWA-8500S/EN is compatible.
