I think your HDMI switch does not speak HDCP (DRM/copy protection), then it must not work. I don't know any solution for this problem.
Problem solved. I had followed the operation of my previous player, also a Samsung. When you switched it on, it automatically jumped to the place where you were last time. With the new player, this has changed. You have to press the ▶️ button to continue in the movie.
No, this is a digital output. Not suitable for old stereo systems with the red/white inputs. There must be a decoder that converts the digital signal to analogue.
HDMI cables are capable of transmitting both video and HD audio signals. Thus, only one HDMI cable is needed to transmit video and audio signals to the TV.
