Super SSD, but the price of CHF 2290 is one zero too many. Digitec will certainly fix the mishap :-)
Of course.
incorrect price quotation
Yep ! Use the SSD without a heat sink!
Unfortunately, we currently have no information on when the item will be available and when we will be able to deliver it. As soon as something changes in this regard, we will post it here. Sorry.
Hello Elruuko, Digitec has written an article on the PS5 with M.2 SSD, you can find it here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/ps5-speichererweiterung-beta-update-bringt-m2-ssd-slot-zugriff-20700 You'll find all the relevant information there. Many greetings
Sure, but whether you get full PCIe 4.0 speed depends on whether your board supports PCIe 4.0.
Ist doch im Shop vorhanden :-? Samsung 980 Pro (1000GB, M.2 2280)
requires a PCI Express connection!
In a P50 and P53, as well as P15 without problems
You don't need a SATA cable, M.2 is installed directly on the MoBo
Hi Lux_R, You never actually have the full storage capacity available. This is because a certain amount of space is always required for data on the storage medium. You will certainly find more details on the net about exactly what this unavailable storage space is used for. LG
Still works. Is downwards compatible. It may just not be quite as fast.
Apparently the shine has gone off Samsung SSDs, but they were not completely defective, because there was new firmware. However, the Samsung SSDs of the 980 Pro series are no longer among the best SSDs, these three models are worlds better (by the way, the Samsung 990 Pro also have massive problems, there is also new firmware), the three here are all NVMe and they are also available in 2TB: Intel Solidigm P44 Pro (SK Hynix chips) WD Black SN850X Seagate FireCuda 530 (which has an extreme Total Bytes Written Rate of 2550 Terabytes)
I don't know if the M.2 fits on a Z590. The heat sinks are not mandatory, I left them out at first because they were hotter than without heat sinks (my mistake). In the meantime, I have it with a heat sink. It heats up quite quickly with heavy use, hence the cooling things, at least in my opinion.
I don't understand what exactly you mean by ME, but if it needs a working Windows for that, boot Windows on another old disk or USB stick, install what's missing in the mainboard and then put it back in the first slot.
The Crucial P5 Plus is not one of the faster SSDs, that crown belongs to these SSDs: WD Black SN850X, Samsung 990, FireCuda 530, Kingston Fury Renegade (and the practically equally fast KC3000) and one that doesn't have NVRAM but is also very good, that would be the WD Black SN770, which also manages 5150 MB/s and 4900 MB/s, a very good performance for one without DRAM cache and in the PC Mark 10 Quick Benchmark it was even the best. The Samsung 980 Pro is far behind, if Samsung, then the 990, but certainly not the 980 Pro. Those days are definitely over. These are the current best (whereby the FireCuda 530 takes the cake in terms of durability, it can write approx. 2500 TB, while others can do just under half that), I would buy one of these :). Samsung 990 Pro (2000 GB, M.2 2280) WD Black SN850X (2000 GB, M.2 2280) Seagate FireCuda 530 (2000 GB, M.2 2280) Kingston KC3000 (2048 GB, M.2 2280) Kingston FURY Renegade (2000 GB, M.2 2280) WD Black SN770 (2000 GB, M.2 2280)
You can brew them for that. But I'm not sure if you'll run into problems with the heat. But there is a 980 Pro with heatsink that should avoid the problem. Samsung 980 Pro with Heatsink (2000 GB, M.2 2280)
Hello SeidelB, what should one do with this statement? Every consumer has to decide where to buy the product. I bought this article because it convinced me. I do not understand the meaning of the question or the statement. ! But in the end it is up to you to decide. Greetings
