So, in January, the Samsung factory had a power failure. It took 1 hour until everything was working again. During that time, several 100,000 francs were lost. And how do you get them back?
By offering everything at a higher price.
Not at first glance. The motherboard needs an M.2 interface for the SSD. The motherboard I got as a search result for your specification does not have this.
Hello,
1. According to the Internet (https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/ssd-upgrad...), it is compatible, but I have not tested it...
2. EVO Plus are based on TLC memory (3 bits per cell), PRO are based on MLC memory (2 bits per cell), so they are more durable (they support more writing). For more information: https://www.lesnumeriques.com/ssd...
Mac compatibility is sh*t, if the answer is not in a modder forum you have no other choose but it ask in a apple store/service and probably they'll look at you like you are committing a crime
When googling for your question, I get a no answer. Apparently the pin layout is different. This means that even if it fits, the golden contacts of the ssd would not meet the matching contacts of your macbook. (Source: techspot.com/guides/768-ssd-form-factors/)
According to my information, the MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) does not yet support NVMe SSDs. They will only be supported from 2013 models onwards. However, SATA M.2 SSDs with the appropriate adapter should then work.
