As it is made of glass, there is only the plastic lid, which the steam touches and a few drops may fall back into the water! If this plastic contains Bisphenol A, then an ordinary buyer cannot answer this question. You have to ask the manufacturer. I would say that it is certainly better than kettles that are made entirely of plastic. It seems to me an excellent product.
Digitec is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or, alternatively, a suitable adapter if the mains cable is permanently connected. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.
It's about as loud as boiling water. ?! :)
It makes a little noise when it heats up, yes.
Yes, as often as you like.
I have one just like it. Unfortunately it comes from China.
The handle is not screwed but the upper rim is made of plastic
It is a CH plug :-)
The outermost edge of the base is still glass, otherwise the whole base is the heating plate and that is made of metal.
In my case it was a DE plug, but on request I received an adapter free of charge.
The opening is also large enough in my opinion. We regularly decalcify and clean the appliance and so far have not found the opening too small.
Mine came with the standard Swiss plug.
Works without any problems. The lid is tight, the jar does not tighten. However, it is not possible to empty the entire contents without opening the lid, so a few ml of liquid remain. I am very satisfied!
Of course. If you can land on Mars, you can boil water!
