A charging station is included. The robot also drives to this station automatically as soon as the battery reaches a low charge level in order to recharge. As soon as the battery is charged, the robot starts again to finish the desired cleaning programme. The station is therefore only for charging, but does not fill up water or empty the dust container. This has to be done manually. Everything else can be controlled via the app or directly by the robot.
The S6 MaxV was already very good and was constantly optimised through many firmware updates. In my opinion, the surcharge is far too high. An S7 MaxV is already better in navigation, but not more than 250 francs better. The wiping function has of course been improved in the S7, but if that is not an important criterion, cleaning, finding one's way around the flat and reliably locating the charging station, the S6 MaxV can also do that excellently well and it also recognises objects reliably.
Not everywhere, but a good source for spare parts would certainly be Aliexpress. However, such wipes last a very long time. So you don't need replacements that urgently.
It will be handed out to the suppliers before the manufacturer this month at the earliest. I therefore assume (if the suppliers receive one from Digitec) that this will be the case in mid/end April at the earliest. By the way, complaining doesn't help, it's just annoying.
