>>>S5 room layout<<< For all those who can't wait: 1. download the "FloleVac" app. I had the app on it from before, but never used it much. (1.1. Data deleted (my S5 was still in it from before, but couldn't connect it etc)). 2. import via Mi Home account -> both S5s were recognised. 3. firmware update, shows nicely which one is active and which one is the newest (takes 3min, don't worry if it loses connection for a moment. The S5 already makes a noise when it has finished the FW update). 4. update MI Home App - Robot Voice DE Now I have to see where all the settings are and test a bit.

Yes, just last week there was a firmware update for the S5. Now rooms are automatically recognised and only individual rooms can be wiped. You can also divide the rooms yourself and choose when starting whether the rooms should be wiped once, twice or three times. In addition to no-go zones, you can now also create invisible walls in the app and the device can remember several maps between which you can switch (great if you have several floors in the house).

Yes, but without Wi-Fi you cannot use many useful functions such as floor plan creation or mapping, setting suction strength, remote start/stop, marking parts of the house as no-go zones, etc.

It depends on the fringes, small short fringes rather not, rasta fringes yes.... Roborock likes to eat fringes, cables, cat toys like almost all hoovers in this class... I have set up a no-go zone in the app, so Roborock avoids the carpet.

Regarding 1. a brief internet search seems to confirm that it is the same product. Regarding 2: The map is saved (but must be set in this way in the app) and limits and no-go zones can then be defined. In addition, targeted cleaning is then also possible.

Yes, there are replacement batteries (see here on digitec), but I can't tell you how difficult it is to replace them, but it should be possible if you know how to use a screwdriver - soldering or something like that is not necessary, the battery is plugged in via a connector. I can only recommend the Robotor in general, I am very satisfied with it. Exception: You have (many) pets, then the brush can be a bit annoying, but generally without pets or with a cat/dog you should have a lot of fun with it.
