Hi Fabian, there are 9 comb attachments for lengths from 1.5mm to 15mm. Without the attachment, the machine shortens to 1 mm, according to the instructions. For cutting lengths of 0.5 mm, the blade must be placed vertically. I have never tried this without the attachment. But I am enthusiastic about the machine. In the past, I struggled for ages with these narrow devices. Today, with this model, everything is done in no time. Super product!

I really appreciate the Remington HC4250 QuickCut. Thanks to its rounded cutting surface, it adapts better to the head. From my point of view, it should also work for babies, at least better than other hair clippers with a straight cutting surface. It comes with many attachments, suitable for many different hair lengths.
