Does the alarm work in case of a power cut when the ChargePAK is inside? (Unfortunately it does not work with the batteries in the PURE Pop Mini).

hi! i had bought the ChargePAK to use the PURE Pop Mini as a clock radio in battery mode - but unfortunately PURE only supports the alarm function in mains mode, which is why i was able to return the ChargePAK to digitec, they were very accommodating! don't understand PURE why the alarm function is not supported, for me the ChargePAK makes no sense like that. Hope this helps!
