Hi
All you have to do is plug the device into the USB port in the car and then follow the instructions on the screen. Connect Bluetooth to the device instead of the car and it will work without any problems!
I use it in a Skoda Superb and am absolutely delighted.

CarPlay with iPhone works perfectly. I can't judge with Android, as we don't have Android. But with 2 iPhones it's great!
