I have a Polar H7 and a Huawei Mate 20. It's not quite the same smartphone but it works fine with it.

No. The signal reaches a maximum of 4 metres. The best thing is to pair the belt with a fitness wristband. I, for example, use the Polar Loop.

Polar itself writes: Apart from Polar Beat, the following applications work with the H6 / H7 as far as we know: Endomondo Cardio Mapper Runtastic iSmooth Run Up to the Samsung Galaxy S6 it was compatible, it even says so on the Polar website. Unfortunately, I don't have an S7 to test it. However, I would be surprised if it didn't work... Otherwise contact Polart.

Yes it is sensor with strap and the siize is OK even for small lady.
Yes the strap works with the Polar Loop 2 and the heart rate is displayed.
