Questions about Playseat seat slider

The slider is installed between the seat and the base support of the Playseat. The gear lever is still screwed onto the top of the base support and does not move together with the slider. The slider is especially practical when different people use the seat. If the same person always plays with it, it is unnecessary to buy the slider. My Slider came in black. It is simply two black rails and a bracket at the front. The rest is part of the Playseat itself.

It's basically only a few metal parts which you then add-on to the seat you buy. It's good for fine adjustment but not a necessity. I have it but not sure I would buy it again.
