Yes, I agree, you would have to test that first. As I know it, 10% of the purchase price is deducted for the opened original packaging. I would always follow the return policy: https://www.digitec.ch/de/wiki/560
Actually I had the same problem and I solved in two ways:
1 - you can place the antenna near a window.
2 - if you cannot, I also bought a very high quality antenna cable (10 mt) and get decent results. Not sure beyond that length if it s going to work.
Hi,
You are right according to the datasheet and on the product front its lf it is mentioned 185W/ch (6ohm, 1khz, 10% the, 1ch driven) / 170w/ch (6ohm l, 1khz, 1% the, 1ch driven, IEC)
You can easily add two more speaker to make is 7.1.2 system.
Hope this information help.
The Pioneer VSX-LX305 AV receiver is suitable for your current 5.1.2 system, especialmente given its specifications:
- It offers 100 watts per channel with 2 powered channels (8 ohms, 20 Hz-20 kHz, THD 0.08 %).
- For 6 ohm speakers and 130 watts, the receiver should be able to power them, although the maximum power per channel is slightly less than 130 watts.
If you want to upgrade to a 7.1.2 system by adding two more speakers, here are some considerations:
- The additional speakers must be compatible with the power and impedance that the receiver can handle. Speakers rated at 6 ohms and around 130 watts will be appropriate, as they match the receiver's power supply specifications.
- 4 ohm speakers may be more demanding in terms of power and could potentially overload the amplifier, especially if used at full power. It is generally recommended to use speakers of 6 ohms or more to avoid overloading the amplifier.
In summary, for a 7.1.2 system, it is best to use 6 ohm speakers and around 130 watts to ensure optimum compatibility with the Pioneer VSX-LX305 AV receiver.
Sunrise/UPC will gradually switch off FM transmissions and switch to DAB+ Cable by the end of the year at the latest. Many communities have already switched over. The Pioneer VSX-LX305 has DAB+ built in. The supplied aerial should be sufficient for reception. To receive other stations via DAB+ Cable, you will need an adapter such as Sumatronic DAB+ cable Adapter (Audio Switch) which you plug between the Sunrise/UPC wall socket and the LX305. This adapter may also have a suitable plug connection for the LX305.
For the operating instructions of the Pioneer Elite VSX-LX305 AV receiver in German, you can take the following steps:
1. manufacturer website: Visit the official website of Pioneer and search for the product VSX-LX305. There are often download links for user manuals in various languages, including German.
2. support page: Go to the manufacturer's support or download page where you can download specific documents and manuals for the device.
3. dealer websites: Some retailers, such as digitec, also offer instruction manuals and other documents on their product pages. Check the product page of the retailer where you purchased the device.
4. customer service: If you cannot find the user manual online, contact Pioneer's customer service directly and ask for a German version of the manual.
I have a general question about AV-Receiver.
For my setup at home, i want to:
- Play sounds (mostly spotify) from my phone without having a cable connected
- Connect my speakers to such a system (they are not that big)
- (nice to have) Being able to play sound from my TV on my speakers
So far i have a small Radio that fulfills these needs (where i connect the speakers and then play various inputs such as from my phone or from the TV via AUX-input or cinch) but needing to connect my phone with a usb cable sucks.
Should i just go for a AV-receiver or is there another option?
Thanks in advance
The Instruction Manual from Pioneer (SN29403975_VSX-LX305_En_210421_web.pdf, https://www.pioneerhomeusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/SN29403975_VSX-LX305_En_210421_web.pdf) gives the answer to the question on different versions. Starting on page 184, you will find the technical specifications: Whether the US model really has more power or is just based on a different measuring method is something I cannot judge, but another criterion for deciding could be the difference in the tuner (AM/FM for the US and DAB/FM for the European model). According to the product sheets (data sheets on the US and EU websites of Pioneer), the colour of the display and the presence of the "Elite" logo seem to be an external distinguishing feature.
