Phobya Y-cable 4Pin PWM
Phobya Y-cable 4Pin PWM
Hello, that is also correct. The 4pin is the master, which sets the speed and the 3pins follow this speed as slaves. There cannot be two or more 4Pins because there is only one speed :)
yes, but be sure to read the return policy.
It depends. Decisive are both what your motherboard can deliver at maximum power on the connection, and how much power the fans draw when starting up, and how much during operation. The latter in turn depends significantly on whether they are operated at 100% PWM signal or less. The voltage is always 12V, but the current and thus the power consumption are typically highest at 100%. I run five Noctua 140 mm fans on an ASUS gaming board at around 800-1200 rpm without any problems.
As far as I know, the Rampage V Extreme offers 8 connections for fans. Attached is a picture: https://www.asus.com/websites/global/products/SNYTZvOdMa6xGWYL/img/staycool/staycool-fan-1.jpg PS: No fighting here!
