The SH71/50 replacement shaving heads are available for the shaver and have been specially developed for the Series 5000 and 7000. These shaving heads should be replaced every 24 months to ensure optimum performance. They consist of 45 self-sharpening SteelPrecision blades and are designed for a close and gentle shave.
Alternatively, SH50/50 shaving heads are also available as replacements for the Series 5000, which are also compatible and available in sets of 3.
The most common replacement shaving heads for this shaver are summarised below:
- SH71/50 (recommended for Series 5000 and 7000)
- SH50/50 (compatible with Series 5000)
The replacement is carried out by unlocking the shaving head, removing the holder and inserting the new shaving heads.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, a mistake has crept in here. According to my research, the Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5885/10 weighs approx. 300 grams. We will correct the information accordingly.
Warning: never connect to the 230 V 50 Hz mains supply, but to a 5 V power supply with a USB connection designed for charging, such as a computer, etc...
There are the following differences:
- Shaving Technology:
S5887/10: Features flexible shaving heads that adapt to the contours of your face, providing a closer shave. It also includes a hair density sensor that adjusts the shaving power based on the thickness of your beard.
S5885/35: Also has flexible shaving heads but lacks the hair density sensor. It focuses on providing a comfortable shave with its SteelPrecision blades.
- Accessories:
S5887/10: Comes with a travel case and a precision trimmer for detailing.
S5885/35: Includes a charging stand, cleaning brush, and a protective cap.
