Hi Jasmin
You need to connect the bridge directly to the wifi router as a priority. Then check whether the bridge can control the bulbs.
If this is not possible, you will need a repeater with several ethernet ports so that you can connect (at least) the bridge to them. Then check the range of the bridge (depending on the size of the flat).
As far as the repeater itself is concerned, you need to test between a PLC repeater (power line carrier). Basically, you plug it into an electrical socket (which MUST be on the same phase) and it should pick up the WiFi signal. Practical but not always stable!
Or think about an "extension" of the wifi network ("mesh" network).
hoping this helps ... a little
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers, especially in international comparison. We always try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products. We always try to compare ourselves with the most relevant suppliers, but we cannot always take all of them into account.
Yes, I would strongly assume so. In my case, I also looked at the 1100 and then bought after that. The price is also an indication. So the 800's are cheaper than the 1100's. I got the right one last week
Not an ultimate answer, but there are two other products listed for the 800 and 1100lumen versions. I assume/hope only the attributes are wrong and the product is indeed the 1600lm version.
BT means Bluetooth, you can change colour and brightness with your app and wouldn't need a Philips Hue Bridge.
The set with three bulps without BT is from another seller (Pfister), not directly sold by Galaxus. Maybe that's where the difference in pricing is comming from.
On the other hand you can also buy a set with three bulps with bluetooth
https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s14/product/philips-hue-white-color-ambiance-bt-e27-9w-leuchtmittel-11235542, which is also more expensive, so Galaxus prices aren't always that understandable anyways...
I ordered this kit last Friday and it actually says 9W on the box. It also says Bluetooth and Zigbee support on the box. From that I assume it is the 5th gen.
We often have different purchasing conditions for the individual products and the set. Depending on the quantity, availability, etc., this can then have an effect on the sales price. So this is currently correct.
The dimmer should remain turned up to 100%. If you turn it down, flickering or malfunctions may occur. Control and dimming is then carried out entirely via the Hue app or via compatible smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. For full functionality, you need a Hue Bridge that is connected to your Wi-Fi router.
Yes, that's correct. You can simply put the bulb in a lamp and adjust it via the Philips Hue app. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device for a direct connection.
Yes, the difference is clear: 1600 lumens are twice as bright as 800 lumens
No, you don't have any restrictions as it's the same, just with better conditions. :)
The light source can also be controlled and dimmed directly with a smartphone or tablet without a Hue Bridge via the Philips Hue Bluetooth app, provided it is Bluetooth-enabled. Control via app works directly via Bluetooth without the need for a bridge. However, the range of functions without a bridge is somewhat limited compared to control with a bridge.
The Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamps reach their maximum brightness of up to 1,100 lumens at a colour temperature of 4,000 Kelvin (neutral white light). According to the Philips Hue website
When displaying colours, the brightness is reduced depending on the selected colour tone. However, Philips does not provide specific lumen values for individual colours. In general, saturated colours such as red, green or blue appear less bright than white tones.
To change the colour and control the Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamp, you don't need an additional Philips Hue lamp, just the corresponding light bulb itself.
- The Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance lamp (E27, 13.50 W, 1600 lm) offers the ability to switch between white and coloured light and can display up to 16 million colours.
- It can be controlled via the Philips Hue app, voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or with smart accessories such as the Hue Dimmer Switch.
- These lamps fit into standard E27 sockets and are therefore suitable for most traditional lamps and luminaires.
Yes, they are. I've used them with the Philips Hue Bluetooth application, and also with the Philips Bluetooth remote controls. Mind you, at the time it was one or the other, now I don't know. You also need to be aware that the bulbs still need a power supply.
The 'White & Colour Ambiance BT (E27, 13.50 W, 1600 lm)' model from Philips Hue is not equivalent to a 100 W bulb in terms of electrical power, but rather in terms of brightness. This LED bulb consumes 13.5 watts of electrical power, but produces a brightness equivalent to that of a 150 watt incandescent bulb, with a luminous flux of 1600 lumens.
No, you don't necessarily need the Hue Bridge to use these bulbs, but it is recommended to access all the advanced features. Here are the key points:
- You can control the bulbs menggunakan the Philips Hue Bluetooth app, allowing you to control up to 10 bulbs in a single room without the Bridge.
- However, the Hue Bridge is essential for enabling features like remote control, voice control with assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and automated routines.
