I don't think it works. When I set it to Bluetooth, my speakers are muted, i.e. either speakers or bluetooth but not both together. By the way, I also ordered headphones with Bluetooth at the same time, but they don't find a Bluetooth connection with the radio. With the mobile phone, on the other hand, no problem.
HiFi small systems usually come with speakers, if you don't need them either store them or try to sell them. At a complete price of just 278.-, they are not the best of the best anyway...
