I am very interested in this Panasonic DMP-BDT700EG, but I have a question. Is this device only a player or HDD recorder or a simple recorder? It is not written

hi C, it is only a 3D Blu-ray player as the name suggests. however, it is a very good one, probably top 10 (or so it was about 12 month ago when I bought it)

I am interested in the player, but I also have Code1 DVDs. I have read how to set the code, but only if the player has the latest firmware (ver. 1.05C). How is that with yours?

Unfortunately, we cannot prove which firmware version is installed on the units in stock. However, you can update the firmware at any time (if one is available) via the Ethernet interface. You can connect the recorder to your network and receive regular messages about updates.

is there really no Swiss mains cable in the packaging here?

Hello Oeschp, That may well be the case, certain products are supplied WITHOUT a Swiss mains cable. However, you will receive one free of charge from digitec/Galaxus. Have fun with the Panasonic player Regards
