is this for halogen original equipment or xenon because it says so on the description: Areas of application: - Replacement full headlights for all Volkswagen Golf 7 models with xenon headlights - Not suitable for vehicles that are already equipped with xenon headlights as original equipment.

The data sheet notes the following: Upgrade headlights for Golf 7 models (pre-facelift; 2012-2016). Not suitable for Facelift Golf 7.5 models. According to research, the Golf 7 has xenon headlights before the facelift and full LED headlights after the facelift, but are only standard on the higher trim levels. Those who forgo the option on the base models get halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights.
