What is the maximum weight that this turntable can withstand? And can it also turn objects that are slightly larger than the turntable itself (i.e. protruding over the edge) or are there then rotation locks?

according to the manufacturer 5kg. if there is nothing in the way and the weight is not higher, it can also look beyond that.

Is it only meant to take 360° photos or can you set the speed of the rotation yourself and film videos with it? Thanks :-)

Are the 360° photos .jpegs? Is there a data sheet somewhere with specifications on it?

You set the quality of the pictures (RAW or JPEG) on your camera. :) I photograph the products on the turntable with my Sony A7 III in RAW, but I could also change it to JPEGs. Hope that helps.

Is software included to create the 360° photos?

Yes, the software is available in the App Stores. It allows the control of the turn table via BT and also enables the creation of 360° photos based on it.
