Neither. This magnetic board is not intended to be attached to a wall, but rather for mobile use instead of a notepad. The board comes with 4 square magnets that you can stick to the back of the board using the double-sided adhesive tape that is also included. I use this board with these magnets on the back and then attach it to the large magnetic board when I'm not using it, which is practical because nothing is lying around.
