Super Mario Party is the first Mario Party spin-off for the Switch and Mario Party Superstars is the latest spin-off which is a remaster of Mario Party 1 for the N64 with mini-games and boards from all parts up to Mario Party 9.
Both versions are good for kids, but I would definitely recommend Mario Party Superstars as it has a lot more content and a family mode.
