I have been using this device for over a year and have never heard of Netgear Armour, nor have I ever had to pay anything for it. Maybe it didn't come with it before. In any case, it is not needed for the function of the router.
This router complies with Wi-Fi standard 6, not 6E. But it should be quite sufficient at the current state of the art: 1) it can handle speeds up to 2.5 Gbpm 2) there are still very few devices ( clients) that are equipped with Wifi6E. The IPhone 13 Pro for example only works with wifi6. 3) A wifi 6E router is much expensive and in my opinion total overkill.
It does seem that the Power Adapter North America covers a wider input voltage range. The EU version, on the other hand, only covers 220-240 VAC. Therefore, the adapter (presumably PN: 332-10631-01 Model: AD2003F10, Output: 19V 3.16A, Input: 100~240V 50/60Hz) would have to be purchased via America. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RAX200.aspx#Firmware%20Version%201.0.3.106
I have a large 5.5 room flat, the walls are concrete.
With the RAX200 and the Fritzrepeater 2400 I have good results everywhere.
Activate AX and the same network name for all channels. That way it works wonderfully.
I would recommend a network-based system. I actually returned the Netgear unit as it was not reliable in terms of coverage.
I purchased the Wifi 6-based Orbi system and it works very well.
All the best !
Yes, the RAX 200 has comprehensive firewall functions. In addition, websites can be blocked by keywords or schedule.
If storage devices such as hard drives or SSDs are connected via USB, the router functions as a DLNA server. One has to check the checkbox "Enable DLNA Media Server" in the ADVANCED > USB Functions > ReadyShare Storage > Media Server)section for this. Yes, without any problems. However, the X6S cannot keep up with the speed of the RAX200. If speed is a criterion, the AX8 repeater would be the solution to choose at present.
