Questions about Netatmo Outdoor module

I would make a complaint to galaxus. This can only be a mistake. Netatmo's D3r shop currently sells the outdoor module for CHF 48. Galaxus has probably slipped a '2' in front of the correct price.

I have commented on this problem here before. The problem is neither with the battery nor with the current demand of the unit, but with contact corrosion. This causes an increasing contact resistance, so that the terminal voltage drops and is quickly no longer sufficient for signal processing. Measures: 1) Keep the unit dry, even if it is an 'outdoor station'. Recently, Netatmo also offers a rain-protective housing. 2) If you dare - open the device and clean the contacts with a cotton stick soaked in contact spray; then rub dry with the clean end of the cotton stick. Maintain the battery terminals in the same way. Constructively, the cause lies in the shabby gold-plating of the contact surface on the electronic print. If the damage is advanced, the only solution is to buy a new one (possibly under guarantee).

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that community issues are primarily intended for requests regarding the ownership or use of products and not their price. As far as prices are concerned, they are established according to supply and demand but also depend on the suppliers and the availability of the goods. For all these reasons, they vary on a daily basis. :)
