Yes the Atom x5-Z8350 supports AES New Instructions. This Mini PC has a faster Celeron N4000 CPU, it would also be able to do this, it would even have a better CPU: Elitegroup Liva Q2 (Intel Celeron N4000, 4 GB, 64 GB, eMMC) The Elitegroup device also has no fan, but the CPU is from 2018, could even still run Windows 11.
We have the device to stream. Runs just fine...on netflix the picture freezes in between while the sound continues to play. I wouldn't be so stingy on the price and buy the stronger device. Otherwise, the device is tiptop!
Of course it can. The HDMI 1.4 standard is exactly for this and I can confirm it. The prerequisite, of course, is that your TV can do it and the video material is appropriate.
Found it. The description says Windows, but under specifications it says Ubuntu.
I would contact the product experts at Galaxus for this, unfortunately I'm not familiar with Ubuntu 😅
Does it work as a thin client with two screens? Connections are there. Yes. But does it run cleanly?
