Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other docking alternatives. In some cases we have other layouts available to order, should this be of interest to you: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/tablet-tastatur-2043?filter=t_8886%3D285824%7C577949 (e.g. Italian)

Is it compatible with Microsoft pro 7?

As stated by a colleague above. "Unfortunately, I can't say for sure. But in general type covers are compatible for all Pro 3-7. This type coverage is general and not specific to v7."

Hello Adrianarnold Unfortunately, the question cannot be answered directly with the information provided. This Type Cover (Model FMM-00008) was developed for the Surface Pro (5th Generation). However, it is basically backwards compatible (Surface Pro 3 and Pro 4) and also works with later models (Pro 6 and Pro 7). However, it may not cover the screen completely or even protrude beyond it. It is therefore best to first compare the dimensions of this Type Cover (width: 295 mm, depth: 217 mm) with your device. To find out your Surface Pro model, simply press the Windows key, type in "System Info" and press Enter (the "System Information" app will start). Under "System Overview", the model is indicated in the right-hand window under "System Model" (approx. seventh line). If it only says "Surface Pro" (without a number), it is the "5th Generation" (which for some inexplicable reason Microsoft has not called Surface Pro 5, although the predecessor is called Pro 4 and the successor Pro 6).

I've never had this problem, but you might want to check that your contacts between the Surface and Type Cover are clean.

Helpful answer

Product images of laptops and keyboards are always illustrations and are practically never shown in the CH layout (not even by the manufacturer). However, all products at Digitec are in the CH layout unless explicitly mentioned otherwise (see specifications or product title). You will receive this keyboard in the CH layout with QWERTY, large ENTER key and ö/é, ä/à, ü/è as you are used to.
