The charger for this Surface tablet is 39W, however the tip seems to have remained the same. In my opinion, the device should be able to adapt to the power and still charge with the old charger, but if you buy this device you'll also get the new charger included in the package so it shouldn't matter.

Yes - you can charge the Surface Pro 11 via USB-C with a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charger; a special Surface power supply is not mandatory. According to Microsoft, Surface models with USB-C support charging via USB-C PD, but Microsoft recommends a USB-C PD charger with the recommended wattage for best performance (fast charging usually requires at least 45 W; lower wattages charge more slowly or the device only starts at around 10% charge level), while the Surface Connect power supply remains an alternative charging option. Important for you: - Check whether your current Lenovo charger supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD) and what output power (watts) it delivers; for fast charging, Microsoft typically recommends 45 W or more for many Surface models. - If the charger delivers less than ~60 W, the device may charge until it reaches about 10% before booting when the battery is completely drained. - Use a good USB-C to USB-C cable that supports PD; cheap cables or USB-A to USB-C adapters may not be sufficient. I'm not completely sure if the exact minimum and recommended wattage specifically for this Surface Pro 11 configuration model is in the specs here; for exact wattage requirements, I recommend checking the device specs or Surface Support for model EP2-08390 or using the "Surface 45W USB-C Wall Charger" power adapter model if you want Fast Charging.

How is it possible for prices to double?

We source our products from different suppliers to ensure availability as far as possible. As soon as a supplier does not have the item in stock, we switch to a supplier with higher availability. Each supplier offers different prices, so there may be price differences. There can be various reasons for this, such as higher purchase prices for smaller quantities or additional import costs. We therefore work with daily prices.

The main difference between the two models is that one device is supplied without a power supply unit, while the other includes a power supply unit. This results in a price difference of around CHF 500, whereas the device with a power supply unit is available for immediate delivery. Both models have the same technical specifications such as processor, RAM and storage space. - Power supply unit: One of the devices is supplied without a power supply unit, while the other includes one. - Price: The device without the power supply unit is around CHF 500 cheaper. - Availability: The model with power supply unit is available immediately.

The Surface Pro 6 docking station is not directly compatible with the Surface Pro 11, as the newer models have different connectivity and compatibility requirements. The Surface Pro 11 has USB-C/USB4 ports that are designed for modern docking stations, while older models may use other ports such as Mini DisplayPort. Docking stations such as the Microsoft Surface Dock 2 or the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock are recommended for the Surface Pro 11 to ensure optimal compatibility and functionality. However, there are reports of problems with the compatibility of the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock with the Surface Pro 11, especially when using monitors and audio. If you want to use a docking station for the Surface Pro 11, you should opt for a newer, compatible option to ensure that all functions work properly.

I think it depends on the applications you use. While I was waiting for this surface to come out, I was using the iPad for note-taking. However, I was limited because I couldn't use the iPad as a computer for other tasks at the same time. With the surface pro, I can do both. However, you have to recognise the disadvantages of the surface pro compared with what Mac has to offer: for intensive use, the battery life is shorter, and it heats up a bit more, and from time to time the fan works, but with little noise. On the other hand, with the surface pro I was able to upgrade without any problem from the smallest hard drive sold, and install a 2 TB hard drive in its place for < 200 chf.
