I would buy the Microsoft power supply 1932. 127 watts and according to Microsoft compatible with Surface Laptop Studio. Maybe Digitec can order it, otherwise it's available at Microspot. https://www.microspot.ch/de/mobiltelefon-tablet-smartwatch/tablet-ebook/tablet-zubeh%C3%B6r--c521000/microsoft-surface-power-supply-127-w-ladeger%C3%A4t-schwarz--p0002360215?gclid=CjwKCAiA68ebBhB-EiwALVC-Nj2lH5r1drzHYG9w1fOQqyMJLiKwtnFI8ZvfBdy9I34iPv458nIthhoCUFEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

To connect screens with HDMI directly to the device, you need a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter, e.g. Verbatim USB Type-C to (HDMI, 5.50 cm). For the docks, it depends on whether you're using a newer or an older one. For the new one you need the same adapters as above (USB-C to HDMI), for the older one the adapters Mini Display Port to HDMI, e.g. Lanberg Mini DP to (HDMI, 20 cm)

Difficult to say, because you would have to own both devices to be able to make a comparison. However, the laptop you mentioned does not have a Swiss keyboard, but a German one. Whether an increase in performance is noticeable depends on the intended use. I don't think anything is noticeable for office applications.

It would be better to choose a notebook with an AMD Ryzen 6000 CPU, for several reasons, faster than Intel and get less hot. This means the fans in the case run less frequently and for a long time and the battery lasts much longer. Intel Gen 11, 12 CPUs get hot very quickly and then the fans start running, which is also not always desirable. WLAN is always built into the notebooks, there is no need for adapters. One of the best current models with touchscreen and stylus is the Lenovo Yoga 7 Gen 7 series, which is also available with 32 GB RAM and a very fast AMD Ryzen 6800U CPU, and can be configured directly at Lenovo. With 15.6 inches, you're carrying a lot of weight around with you, which isn't ideal for school and taking everywhere, so I'd go for the 14-inch model and then combine it at home with a 32-inch 4K UHD screen that has 3840 x 2160 pixels, so you can work in high resolution. I don't know if you really need an Nvidia Geforce solution, but the integrated GPU in the AMD Ryzen 6800U is already very powerful, and I think it has a lot to offer for CAD because it can refresh quickly in games. With Intel i7 and i9, you can't rely on these CPUs being really good and fast, because it also depends on the wattage with which they are designed and operated, which then also influences how loud the fans get and how long the battery lasts, it doesn't always have to be Intel.

yes it works fine - we also have a Thinkpad (Lenovo) docking station at work and the functionality (screens, Ethernet, etc) is flawless and fast. I also think you can forget about the overpriced MS docking station.

I can't tell you whether it is sufficient for your software. From my experience, the laptop is very powerful. I use it mainly for business and work with Adobe's Creative Suite. I don't notice any drop in performance, even when I have several applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign open. The laptop runs quietly, the fan rarely starts up audibly. But even then it is barely audible. I can only recommend the device.

Hello, maybe different specifications in graphics, CPU, RAM and storage, LTE? Otherwise nothing, both Studio Surface laptops are the current first and only generation. Possibly only an additional description or Win11 Pro / Home. Otherwise there are no differences.

The noise emissions of the Surface Laptop Studio are very good. During everyday work (office, browser, light multitasking), you can hear the fans at all - or almost not at all. Even during certain performance tasks (e.g. video and image editing), they remain quiet for a long time or are very pleasant to work with. --> https://youtu.be/2Wwbo731jOQ?t=375 Here, we even play with it and the fans are barely audible. I can absolutely recommend the device if you are prepared to trade a little performance for the great workmanship, flexible usage options and silent (office) working, so to speak. Best regards.

The Intel i7-11370H processor supports a maximum of 4 screens, whereby the built-in screen counts as 1 screen. According to information from Microsoft, 2 x 4K screens can also be connected. The text is available for the model at Microsoft: With the support of Thunderbolt™ 4 technology, you get the ultimate configuration. With the help of the docking station, you can expand the view to two 4K monitors and other accessories.

All Surface Laptop Studio come with Windows 10/11 Pro, according to the manufacturer. No idea what Digitec has tried to do here again. Source: "Software: Windows 10 Pro or Windows 11 Pro" https://www.microsoft.com/de-ch/surface/business/surface-laptop-studio#coreui-banner-ch4wjj4
