I use this monitor myself (https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/lg-27uk850-w-27-3840-x-2160-pixels-monitors-8909298) with the Surface Book 2. It has 4k, HDR, Thunderbolt 4 and actually everything you could wish for.
Hi, No, unfortunately not. According to neowin.net as of 17.10., only 7 versions have been announced. The 13.5" versions come with the GTX1050 or Intel HD Graphics 620 and the 15" versions come with a GTX1060. The RAM has been doubled on 2 of the 13.5" models, but we don't expect such a crossover in the foreseeable future. -Tom Source: https://www.neowin.net/news/here-are-all-the-configurations-and-prices-of-the-new-surface-book-2
For programmes that require more graphics performance, the system automatically switches to this graphics card, as it is much more powerful than the chip integrated in the cpu. It can also be used, for example, for games that do not require infinite performance. Another example of use is video editing.
Windows 10? In the "Display" settings of Windows. Click on the screen and then you can set the number of Hertz for each individual screen (if possible).
The batteries are permanently installed in the tablet and in the base - how is the Surface supposed to arrive "without a battery"? What do you want to set in the NVIDIA software?
No, only in grey (but it's still beautiful :-))
Until 10 February. See: https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/surface-book-2-mit-mind-25-rabatt-14980
Unfortunately not.
The Surface Docking Station works for this device, I use it myself.
Not only simple but also videos with good quality. Even 4K videos can be edited well.
Hello - quite honestly: I have no idea. I use the charger supplied. Sorry
Yes, I use the following case: booq Hardcase M (15")
No, this must be purchased separately.
No, the Surface Book 2 does not have Thunderbolt 3 support. At most, USB 3.1 is supported via USB-C.
I have never heard the fan before. But I've only been using it for 1.5 months and mostly for office or video. But I have never tested it at over 25 degrees.
Since the accessories are listed under the article and the Microsoft Pen also appears there, I doubt that it is included. Furthermore, it is not included in the scope of delivery. I hope this can help.
Hi, Microsoft only sells these 4 versions at the moment, so I assume that this configuration does not exist. This is probably because at such a high sales price, a slightly larger SSD doesn't make much of a difference or plays too close to the frame of the 8GB version, which is why a combination with a small SSD but 16GB RAM was simply dispensed with. That's why I would go for the 8GB version if I were on a budget, but if money isn't that important or the 16GB RAM is important, I would buy the 512GB version.
The 15" version is currently only available in the USA. It is not known whether this will change in the future or whether we will be able to import the version. It is also not known whether there will be a test video.
