The BS 430 CONNECT supports the following units of measurement: kg, lb and st:lb
To change the units of measurement, please proceed as follows:
1.Please turn the scale to the back. 2.
There you will find a button in the middle. Press this button repeatedly until the desired unit is shown on the display.
My scale shows my actual weight if I use it without profile, but lower weight (4kg) using profile. 🙁

Yes, you can simply read the weight off the scale, you don't need a computer, mobile phone or Bluetooth to do this

An account is required for synchronisation with the app, but the scale itself also works without a Bluetooth connection. Either way, the values are displayed on the screen after the measurement. Of course, the app has the advantage that the measurement results are tracked and nicely displayed. You can also find out additional information about the categories, but I don't see this as a real added value.
If you haven't forgotten to step on them, then it's better if you just send it back. :)) Mine works perfectly (so far, it's just a second day though :) ).
