This is a semi-professional fire protection cabinet. However, it cannot really be compared with a professional document safe. The protective medium which reacts in the event of a fire and I meant in older versions also contains asbestos. But that is not a problem as long as it is bound and not opened. But this safe is not such a safe, it does not have this fire protection medium in the cavity. You can tell just by the weight and I have also seen such document safes at large Swiss companies and they are definitely something else. I got this document safe as a fire protection measure. The security lock isn't the best either, but you can do the research yourself. But it can certainly withstand a fire for a few minutes and is certainly not open within seconds in the event of a break-in. But why do you need a fire cabinet? Can't you store the data you want to back up in two places, let alone encrypt it digitally on NASs and clouds? This makes it unsuitable for media that should not be exposed to more than 50 degrees.

That depends on the price of the Bitcoins: If you have more market value, then the coins are bigger, i.e. not as many Bitcoins go in as if they are worth less. I would also watch out: If you store a lot of Bitcoins with less market value in it, and suddenly the value increases, then it can "block" the Bitcoins in it, edge them, bend them or maybe even blow up the safe! That's why I would always put a wet army wool blanket over it, so that nothing flies away or could catch fire in the surroundings... ;)

How is the safe anchored? Back wall?

The safe should not be fixed to a wall as this will affect the fire resistance. Therefore, this safe is fixed to the floor. You can find detailed assembly instructions under Downloads.
