The description mentions 49 mm but 62mm for the size. Which size is effective? I need 62mm. Thank you very much.

Hello Ruth_72 The lens you have selected has a 62mm thread. Only the description of the 49mm was taken over. In the specifications it says 62mm again Greetings John
