Questions about Marmitek Invisible Control 6 Xtra

The Marmitek Invisible Control 6 Xtra is an infrared extension system that makes it possible to operate A/V devices even in closed cabinets. It employs infrared signals and is not designed as an RF to IF converter. Therefore, it cannot be used directly to convert RF signals from a Samsung remote control to IR signals for a Sonos Playbar. Special RF to IR converters would be required for such conversions.

Apart from Bang & Olufsen, everything actually works.

I have unfortunately had the same experience with the Marmitek Invisible Control 6 XTRA in connection with my Dreambox. It simply does not work. I have therefore (of necessity) invested again and decided on the Marmitek Invisible Control 6 (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/marmitek-invisible-control-6-fernbedienungserweiterung-437850). The "small" difference is not only the missing "XTRA", but also the fact that on the device without "XTRA" the IR forwarding lines are glued directly to the IR receiver on the device. This definitely works better with my units than the "XTRA" system. Here, the IR forwarding must be placed somewhere in the reception range of the units.
