The Strimer Plus V2 RGB extension cable only works for the motherboard if it is ARGB 5 Volt compatible. Otherwise, use the PCIe controller supplied to ensure correct operation of the lighting.
Automatically generated from the .So it doesn't have a PC IE plug. It's just an extension of the graphics card's power supply, so to speak.
Hello, you can also just connect your 2x 8-pin cables and leave the first one free. However, if your power supply already supports the new 12VHPWR standard and such a cable is included, then I would use this one: Lian-Li Strimer Plus V2 (RGB, Black)
No, for RTX 4090 you would need a 4x 8 pin this is only 3x but would work for a RTX4080. Don't think there is an adapter for this cable for the 4090.
Unfortunately, I can't give you a specific answer for your 4060, but it works perfectly with my 4080
12VHPWR is ok for the 4090… but are you sure that your power supply has enough power and 3 available PCIE connectors only for the graphic card?
Hi Lerubis, It depends on the Model of 4070, If it has a 3x 8pin connection it will work. I had it running on my 4080
Hey, No it will NOT. 7900xtx uses 3x8 pin. You need this one: Lian-Li Strimer Plus V2 Triple 8-Pin RGB VGA Cable (RGB)
