For you as a user, the differences usually only mean a different power plug and possibly a regional TV tuner / software configuration. The picture and range of functions remain the same.
The two models differ mainly in their regional focus and features. The OLED77G57LW is designed for Switzerland and comes with a wall mount, while the OLED77G58LW is intended for the EU market.
The main difference lies not only in the remote control, but also in the mounting device: the G57 series is specially optimised for wall mounting, while the G58 series also offers a wall bracket. There may also be regional differences in tuners and local features, such as the twin-triple tuner for the German market.
The price difference of around 1700 francs can be explained by different regional pricing, taxes, import costs and market positioning in Switzerland versus the EU. The technical specifications such as OLED display, 4K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate and the Alpha 11 AI processor are identical for both models.
When comparing the technical specifications of the two LG TVs, a few differences are noticeable, some of which are self-explanatory. The others need to be clarified to avoid surprises.
- Manufacturer number: AVS for the Swiss market. AEU for the Euro market (e.g. different mains plugs)
- Refresh rate is different: 165 vs. 120 Hz: Why? Possibly incorrect information?
- Video outputs: Different number: Why?
- The cheaper TV has longer delivery times.
- The weight is different: Why? (with or without base, with or without packaging)
=> The more expensive TV, which I bought about 2 weeks ago for approx. 2100 .-Fr, is suitable for the Swiss market. The delivery time was 1 day :-)
We purchase the products from different suppliers at relatively different prices, which has an impact on the sales price. There are no technical differences in this sense. With the DE product, you receive a Schuko plug including a fixed adapter.
Technically, the EU and Swiss models are practically identical. They differ in the country version with regard to the power plug and there may be slight regional adaptations, e.g. TV channel lists, DVB-T/C/S configurations, country-specific apps or services.
The main difference between the CH and DE versions is the plug.
The DE version is supplied with a suitable adapter.
In addition, the CH version usually comes with pre-installed apps that are specifically designed for the Swiss market. The same applies to the DE version, which can usually contain pre-installed apps for the German market.
As far as we know, the appliances are technically very similar. The main difference is usually the regional version: mains plug (CH vs EU with adapter) and in some cases regional labelling or pre-assignment. However, this difference will not be noticeable in everyday use, as settings and adjustments can be made according to personal preference.
I was stupidly misled by the pictures and only now realised that the model was delivered without a stand. Which stand do I need to order for the model?
The LG OLED55G59LS is not directly compatible with Oticon Intent hearing aids via Bluetooth, as is the case with normal Bluetooth headphones. Oticon hearing aids use a special 2.4 GHz radio protocol and not classic Bluetooth audio. To transmit the TV sound directly to the hearing aids, the Oticon TV Adapter 3.0 is required. This is connected to the TV (e.g. via the optical audio output) and streams the sound wirelessly to the hearing aids. The Bluetooth function of the LG TV alone is not sufficient for this.
Apart from the mains plug, the items should normally have the same specifications, but this is more a question of price fluctuations: galaxus.ch/en/guide/32
Hello, I bought this TV about 2 weeks ago.
"LG OLED55G59LS / EU Version" the stand was included, as well as an EU adapter! Pay attention to the price, I paid 1192 Chf at Digitec.

We have no personal experience with this item and therefore cannot answer the question. I would be happy to enter it here, perhaps a user can help you.
Hello,
You need to get the official stand from LG, or else buy the TV model ending in 59LW which has the stand, and then buy the LG wall bracket which is available from galaxus.
The two models are expected to share the same specifications, with the exception of the mains plug, which will differ. Both sets come with a 24-month Pick Up & Return guarantee.
You are welcome to report your concern via our Galaxus Assistant so that we can check this and help you accordingly. Let's see what we can do.😊

Otherwise, there is no difference, our retailer warranty is the same for both devices. However, we cannot say anything about manufacturer's warranties, if any.
The differences between the G55 and G57 in the LG OLED65 are mainly in the model series and the technical details, as there is no model labelled G55 - the current series is called G5 with the variants G57, G58 and G59.
If you want to know how the G57 variant differs from other G5 models, here are the most important points:
- The G57 models are designed for wall mounting and come with a special wall bracket, while other variants (e.g. G59) have a stand.
- In addition to the standard sizes, the G57 series also offers a 97-inch model, which is not the case with other variants.
- Technically, all G5 models are very similar: they use the same OLED panel, the same processor, the same HDR formats and offer identical gaming features.
- There are minor differences in the remote control supplied (G57 and G59 without numeric buttons, G58 with numeric buttons).
If by G55 you mean an older model, there is no official information on this in the current sources - the current generation is called G5 (2025) with the sub-variants G57, G58 and G59.
