Hi Roxanne, you can connect the LG HU715WQ to your phone's hotspot. The device has WebOS installed, so YouTube, Netflix and other apps are already installed. You can download or update other apps. You can also stream content via Apple AirPlay if you have Apple devices. I don't know about the screen, because I project it directly onto my white wall.

This works with all boxes. Bluetooth, AirPlay (with AppleTv even with eARC). This means that the sound can be output via HDMI with the AppleTV switched off via HomePod.
