No, as described in the Galaxus description, this is a CD/DVD burner. It is therefore only possible to play or burn CDs and DVDs. BDs do not work. Furthermore, because this is a slot-in drive, only full-size CDs and DVDs may be used. Mini CDs and Mini DVDs are not supported by the hardware.

Is this drive also suitable for gaming?...(Yes, I still have some games that require a CD installation or to play;) ) Thanks in advance
