No, this item is only compatible with the LG G5 and via USB C.

Is it compatible with a Nexus 5x (from LG)? (The 360 cam works with my Nexus) The Nexus 5x also has USB-C and is almost the same size as the G5 (give or take a few millimetres).

Hello, According to what is written on their website, only the G5 is compatible: http://www.lg.com/us/lg-friends/lg-LGR100.AVRZTS-360-vr After several searches on the internet, I can't find any answer concerning the compatibility between your device and this one.
