I almost can't imagine that a pen from a brand other than Lenovo is compatible with Lenovo laptops, because even my Lenovo Active Pen is not compatible with a colleague's Lenovo. So unless you have exactly the right model that is compatible according to Lenovo, it doesn't seem to work.

Good day. This has always worked for me. Have you tried connecting the HDMI cable before switching on the TV? Depending on the TV, this can be a problem. Or the HDMI cable is defective, which has also happened to me. Kind regards

The Yoga520 has its own USB-C port for charging, so the second USB-C port can be used without adappter confusion. Thunderbolt is an Apple interface (Apple and Intel). Some features were introduced to the Windows world with USB3.1 with the USB-C connector (see https://www.macwelt.de/ratgeber...). USB 3.1 hardware will always work on Thunderbolt ports, the reverse is not the case! Thunderbolt 3 hardware will not work on a USB 3.1 port.
