Yes, no problem. Has two slots. Currently 2x16 are installed. Runs fine. I have just done it myself.

is a single 2000gb m2 installed or are there 2x 1000gb ssds where migrated together? I want to increase the memory and this is only possible if a single 2000gb m2 is installed to be able to use the other m2 slot.

Yes, but you have to enable it in the BIOS first.

Can anyone explain to me why the same model in identical configuration is sold for 3599 on the Swiss Lenovo site. Usually I trust Digitec's competitive prices, but here at 400.00 more than Lenovo, I find it very exaggerated. Can someone explain this to me?
