I have the greatest doubts that the part really works with the latest M8s from the various suppliers. It certainly doesn't with mine, I had to open a support case. The cover is very slightly too small. Could someone from Digitec verify this (or have it verified)?

I don't know. By the way, I've already had to order two covers because the plastic holder broke relatively quickly.

This case fits Smart Tab M10 HD (2nd Gen) and Tab M10 HD.

The cover does not fit the M8 FHD (TB8705F) model because it has a light next to the main camera. This is missing from the M8 HD model. Or are there two versions?

The case I have only has the hole for the main camera. There is no extra hole for the light. I don't care because I only use the M8 for playing chess anyway. If I needed the hole for the light, I would punch it with a hole punch (e.g. https://www.galaxus.ch/en/s4/product/knipex-revolving-punch-pliers-90-70-220-pliers-11744403).
