Have you waited long enough? HP notebooks take up to 5 minutes to recognise new ram. Fan spins up, but no picture or any message. Just wait.....

That shouldn't really be a problem ... see info on Kingston : With the Kingston FURY™ Impact DDR5, your notebook or mini desktop PC can now utilise the latest and most advanced memory technology. The Intel® XMP 3.0 certified SODIMM kit with a capacity of up to 64GB of Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 offers you all the enhanced functions of DDR5 in a slim, compact form factor. With Plug N Play1 enabled modules, the Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 automatically overclocks and gives your system a performance boost without the need to activate a profile. Modules with XMP 3.0 profiles can be overclocked to the highest published frequency of up to 6400MT/s by selecting the profile in the BIOS settings.
