The Kärcher SE4002 and SE4001 differ in several important aspects that may explain the price difference: - 2-in-1 comfort system: the SE4002 has a 2-in-1 comfort system with an integrated spray suction hose and an additional wash nozzle for upholstery cleaning, which is not present in the SE4001. - Kärcher nozzle technology: The SE4002 utilises Kärcher nozzle technology, which enables cleaned surfaces to be cleaned 50% faster. This technology is not included in the SE4001. - Accessories: The SE4002 comes with a more comprehensive accessory pack, including a spray extraction brush, upholstery cleaning nozzle and other special attachments. The SE4001 could be supplied with fewer accessories. - Container and handling: The SE4002 has a large, removable fresh water tank (4 litres) and a 3-in-1 ironing handle for convenient carrying, opening, closing and emptying of the appliance container. These features may be less pronounced in the SE4001. These additional functions and the more extensive accessories explain the price difference between the two models.

The spray hose is integrated into the suction hose and is therefore easier to handle, and there is no risk of it tearing off

I would say no. The product is cheap plastic junk and Kärcher is ruining its own name with it. That's my opinion as the owner of the product for occasional use in the basement. Either buy something decent or leave it (or a normal hoover).

Hello, in the meantime there is no longer a "normal", but yes, you can. Water is sprayed onto the floor at the same time as vacuuming and, logically, sucked up again. One tank is filled with warm water and detergent and the dirty water that is sucked up is fed into the main tank. I would also recommend watching videos, it helps a bit.

Yes, it depends on the surface. Example: Our cat vomited on the carpet. This is a high quality Berber fitted carpet made of wool, which should not be cleaned with detergents if possible (self-cleaning effect of wool, grease layer, etc.). After removing the "rough" manually, I used only water, spraying and vacuuming to remove the stain. All gone.

I don't think so. This is more for carpet and textil cleaning (sofa, mattress..). I'd say for tile floor cleaning would fit better a steamer. You can check them out here by karcher too. They are amazing

Hi, you can vacuum hard floors dry quite well with the accessories supplied. We clean our floors several times a year with a little soap, a lot of water, a brush and then vacuum everything up with the Kärcher.

The main difference on the unit is that on the 4002 the spray water hose is combined in the suction hose incl. all pipes (it is ONE hose). The pipe sections all have a water connection and can be combined (omitted) as desired. On the 4001, the water hose is attached via clips and is probably a fiddly job. If you look closely at all the pictures, you will see the difference with the hose guide (some of the pictures are currently incorrectly assigned to the models). The 4001 also does not have the small upholstery nozzle.

In the remarks of the CH version it is mentioned that there is no upholstery attachment. Thus, the EU version is more richly equipped. This could also explain the different weight in the Galaxus specifications. I use the EU version and as @Sumaz72 has already written, this is not a problem. The attachment for CH cannot be removed once mounted and is very solid.
