Jamo S426
Jamo S426
Unfortunately, no cables are included in the scope of delivery and must therefore be purchased separately. Enclosed is a small report with photos of the set: http://www.areadvd.de/hardware/2010/jamo_a426hcs.shtml
A 5.0 sound system does not include a subwoofer. On the website you mentioned, it is explained as follows: "Why is a 5.1 sound system called that, for example? A 5.1 sound system test explains: Due to the total of five channels, the sounds are transmitted without any problems. There is a separate low-frequency channel, which is called a subwoofer. This ensures excellent surround sound through the five channels. The five channels are divided as follows: 1 x centre speaker, 2 x front speakers and 2 back speakers. The subwoofer is connected separately for proper bass."
I have the speakers and a receiver and that's enough for me. I don't know what the advantage of an additional subwoofer is. Quote from the description of the speakers, pay attention to the last two words: "Instead of offering a small sub/sat system, Jamo goes the other way and adds two S426 floorstanding speakers to the set. These two-way bass reflex speakers come with two 140 mm bass drivers and, thanks to high efficiency, make an active subwoofer unnecessary." Greetings, Marco
I still have the Hama, but I don't really need it any more, if you're interested.
The Marantz NR-1607 has enough power for the speakers I have used these speakers myself! The sound is breathtaking, you can't go wrong! Have fun !!!
Dimension HxWxD [mm] = 215 x 118 x 125 Weight [Kg] = 1,05 I can recommend the following product: Hama Lautsprecherständer - 1 Paar (Ständer) Manual: https://nl.hama.com/webresources/article-documents/00049/man/00049594man_cs_de_el_en_es_fi_fr_hu_it_nl_pl_pt_ro_ru_sk_sv_tr.pdf More speaker stands: https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/producttype/speaker-stands-wall-mounts-533?p=1368:205964&tagIds=554-591-200-589
You don't "need" them, but you can buy them separately for 5.1.
