Question about Jamo S426
Can this set be used with a marantz NR-1607 amplifier or is it too weak for this (use in a rented flat)? Does anyone have any experience with this? Here is the link to the amplifier: marantz NR-1607 (7.2 channel, Dolby Atmos, WLAN, Slimline, 7 x 90W, Gold, Silver)

The Marantz NR-1607 has enough power for the speakers I have used these speakers myself! The sound is breathtaking, you can't go wrong! Have fun !!!
I don't see why that shouldn't work. It is certainly not too weak - I use a Denon with similar values and the Jamo set sounds very good with it.
Many thanks for the answers! I was a bit confused by the following statement in the linked test report: "Efficiency: average - the connected AVR should already have some power reserves" and "The connected AV receiver should have some power - an efficiency of 89 dB (2.83 V 1 m) is only good average".
Unfortunately, I'm not really familiar with this :-/
