To move the robot and clean other rooms or another floor, you will need to transport it manually, as it is not designed to cross high thresholds or stairs on its own. The robot uses a navigation function to create a cleaning plan, but if certain rooms were not accessible when it was first mapped, you can try moving it to these areas so that it can map and clean them. Make sure you align the robot with the sensors to avoid any navigation problems.
If you need to clean another floor, it's best to transport and recharge it at a base station on that floor, if possible. This will enable the robot to map and clean the new areas efficiently.

You found out for yourself whether it works or not. In my opinion, several features that I find particularly great about this model are simply omitted:
- Mapping
- Defining rooms and zones and using the app to send the Roomba to where it should be vacuuming now.
- Defining how exactly to clean (dry/wet/how often...)

The dirt extraction also works offline. Maybe there is the possibility to use the Roomba in a private wifi without internet connection and/or you allow the mapping at least in the beginning, so that there is data for the Roomba to orientate itself. But I can't tell you how well it works then.
In my opinion, a cheaper Roomba or hoover robot would probably be of more use to you as physical lighthouses used to be sent along with the Roomba to delimit the vacuuming area.
