I have had the Braava for over 2 years and fill it with lukewarm water. To date, I have not noticed any signs of calcification and have never descaled it. Use once a month.

Just wipe the floor with the cloth: until the battery is empty which is about 60sqm (with my battery).
Wet mopping: The water is enough for 30sqm.
I bought a 2 battery so I can wet mop the flat of 110 sqm in the home office relatively well throughout the day.

I was amazed at how well the cleaning works without any detergent. Only for the kitchen do I spray a little all-purpose cleaner on the floor in 2 places. I am very satisfied with it.
The robot does not recognise rooms, only areas without boundaries. So if you start it with open doors, it just keeps going, without paying attention to whether it is one big room or several rooms. From the robot's point of view, it is one continuous area.
