Yes, the app records the route travelled and displays the location history clearly in a timeline. You can view the route for a desired time period and see where the tracker has travelled.
The Invoxia Roadie Tracker sends notifications when it moves, which is made possible by different tracking modes. You can hide it in a parcel to track the thief and monitor the location via an app. The tracker uses low-power networks and GPS to provide precise location information.
To locate the thief behind a specific flat, you need to use the location data from the app and match it with the geographical information. The tracker does not provide a direct way to identify the exact address or flat, but it can help you determine the general location.
The battery life of the tracker depends heavily on the conditions of use. The battery life may be shorter with frequent position updates. Invoxia trackers can extend their battery life through smart power management techniques, especially when they are close to a smartphone. However, the exact battery life at the shortest monitoring interval is not specified as it depends heavily on the environmental conditions.
I have two of these trackers. They only send their location to my app every 5 minutes (shortest settings in minutes). But only when the trackers are really moving. That's why the battery lasts forever 😃
when we bought it, we read on the company website, that the swiss device would not work in France, and that a french Invoxia device would not work in Switzerland. I guess the device would just not give any "gps" points while traveling in the other country. This was not a problem for us. We are very happy with the device in Switzerland. It works well (at least in Geneva area), and battery hold for a pretty long time.
