I now have an E5-2609v3 and wanted to replace it... according to HPE specs, it also fits with FCLGA? is that right? https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=null&docId=emr_na-c04518697

From the website you pointed out E5-2620v4 seems indeed to be a supported CPU. Just be careful about the firmware: relatively old motherboards require a BIOS upgrade to work with Broadwell (v4) microarchitectures.
