If Windows is to be installed from a USB stick, the stick must be bootable. This can be done with the tool "Rufus": https://rufus.ie/de_DE.html. If the stick is already bootable, the installation drive can be selected during the boot process with F10.

up to 10 Mega without problems. Then I have a kind of bottleneck (I have an i5 4200 u). The installation is not that complicated. First install ubuntu server. https://ubuntu.com/download/server Then use openvpn auto config: http://www.pivpn.io/ It's already installed with command line, but if that's not a problem, it's relatively easy.

Until now, I had still heard the fan - even under load. According to internet research, the fan development only seems to be a problem with the i5 models. Which is why I decided to go with the i3. So far I am very satisfied.
